Vedoneire was founded by a textile lecturer called Hamilton
Livingston (aged 63) in 1943. His two sons, Gilbert and Stanley, joined him
shortly after and built the company into a manufacturing company employing
240 people in three plants in Dublin. Today our goods are made and sold around
the world using the best fabrics available.
We have a firm commitment to the production of the finest quality garments
combining excellent fit with contemporary luxury. While modernisation is
part of our commitment, we will not lose sight of our traditional values.
Quality has been the basis of Vedoneire’s success, this remains the same today
as it was in the 1940s
